SUPERSTITIONS

Do you think it is important to talk about superstitions in cross culture communication class? Why?

I think it is important to talk about superstitions in cross culture communication class.
Because there are various different superstitions by a country. We can know the different thoughts of each country by talking about it. It is very interesting.


Is communication affected by superstitions?

Yes I do. We can understand the way of thinking of the country by talking about the superstition of each other's countries. We'll delve into them.


Do you believe in superstitions? If yes, what superstitions do you believe?

Yes, I believe it. "A relative dies if you do not cover the thumb when you watched a hearse." This is one of the Japanese superstitions. It become ingrained habit as a habit.


Why do you do, use, or believe in them?

I do that for no fathomable reason. It is a thing called "the superstition".

Very good comments. I also think that some superstitions are just inside of us and we do them automatically because we were brought up that way. Our parents have a powerful influence on us!
